Robert Taylor’s unique use of symbolism and techniques of distortion are meant to draw the viewer into an emotion.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: ROBERT TAYLOR
Crow/Blackfeet/Osage/Cherokee/Black Dutch
Robert Taylor’s artistry embodies a deep spiritual quality that defines him as a Native artist. Robert frequently uses symbolism, techniques of distortion, and uncharacteristically large or small body parts in his paintings for emphasis and to evoke emotion from the viewer. "I am anxious to share my window view of truth with others through my work," Robert explains. His acrylic, watercolor, and pen and ink designs are fixtures in museums and private collections throughout the U.S. |
