Thomas Charlie, Navajo, was born and raised in Caņoncito, New Mexico, a small town 30 miles outside of Albuquerque. Thomas learned the craft of silversmithing as a young child from his parents, both of whom were jewelers. Now with over thirty years of experience,Thomas expresses himself through his jewelry, which he considers both an art and a craft. His large collection represents his individual designs, and all are at once unique and accessible. Thomas is excited that his wife and three children have joined the business, and are interested in carrying on the Charlie family tradition of high-end silversmithing.
